A very pleasant afternoon and evening was had at our chief sports correspondent and Nephew of The Post's UmBrulievable 'Layla's Whiskey Bar' for a day of froth, fittle, field, footy and folly!🍺🍕🏏⚽️🎱

With no new excursion undertaken, the order of the day was some much-needed housekeeping duties along with some acquired Quality Control of our Red and Brown ales, while at the same time monitoring the days footy action and updates!🧹🪣⚽️🍺

🤠 The Adventures Of The BLT 🤠
With The Landlady having to sort out some logistic necessities in ode Yeltztown, The Far Post Expeditionary Force took full advantage of the situation by planning a day of scran and beverage prior to the usual end-of-week Quality Control exercises!🍺
The outcome: Brekky at The William Shenstone Wetherspoons; Lunch at The Waggon & Horses, Black Country Ales; And a pit-stop at The New Talbot Quinton for a tasty tek-away prior to Tay back Um at The Far Post!🍳🍔🥘
Bostin' day; Bostin' froth; Bostin' fittle; And most definitely... our kind of BLT!🥪😋 "Cheers!"🍻🏡

🪙 Just Rewards 🪙
After receiving notification from our friends at Black Country Ales following The Far Post Expeditionary Force's recent successful completion of this years' BCA 'Real Ale Trail', the short trip was made to the ode stompin' ground of Shell Corner Village to visit a 'local' of days gone by (and nominated watering hole), 'The Swan Inn' to collect our rewards in recognition of our triUmphant participation💪
Of course, we couldn't let the opportunity go by without a sample of the bostin' froth and fittle on offer before the trip Um and where the visit also saw our final 'Bertie' presentation of this year's trail to yet another helpful & willing recipient!🍺🍔🧷
