Vegetropolis - An independent South Birmingham based venture set up to bring the best of seasonal organic fruit & veg & vegan organic wholefoods. We believe we are responding to a growing demand for quality food made by & for local people, and that we are part of an unstoppable movement of people proactively seeking to create & support a vibrant network of independent food supply. We know there is a quality & range of varieties of fantastic Veg & Fruit being grown & produced out there that you are not getting in the supermarkets & we want to support those farmers & producers by bringing this produce to you. We want to bring you bread that is not bland, insipid & pumped full of bulking agents to pump up the profit on it. We believe everyone on this earth has a right to eat straightforward good quality food that is not adulterated with additives & bulking agents to garner obscene profits. We are Vegetropolis, we have fruit & veg, expect us!

Yoga Well with Tom

Sunday Salutations!

An Invitation, as we step into Winter, to relax, creating a space to restore and nourish yourself each Sunday morning in the beautiful green environs of King's Heath Park.
This year I qualified as a Hatha & Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher to complement the natural living ethos of Vegetropolis. Starting on 29th October, I will now be hosting regular yoga classes at Cartlands Tea Rooms in Kings Heath Park (Click on this link to view a picture of the light airy room we will use).
Sessions: Beginners - 9.30 - 10.30
In this class we will explore an easy gentle seated movement sequence, opening up the joints & releasing tensions from the body. Slowing our breathing, improving coordination, self awareness & mind body connection, to bring about deep relaxation.Laying the foundations of your unique, personal yoga journey.

Intermediate - 10.45 - 11.45
Dynamic Hatha Yoga:
Exploring balance, harmony & coordination of movement & breath, unlocking the benefits of yoga, for mind, body & spirit, with evolving themes for each class. Weaving in relaxing breathing techniques, mindfulness, and many years of well being study.
