So when Damascena opened in Bilk, one of Düsseldorf's greenest and trendiest neighbourhoods, we had to make a special trip!

The menu has a few Afghani additions, but plenty of the Birmingham favourites remain. We tried:-

Nearly one million views in just two months... all because of camels. 🐪

Twenty-two years ago, a chance introduction to camels in Al Ain, UAE changed the course of our journey.

What started as curiosity became a lifelong mission to raise awareness of these incredible animals and the potential health benefits of camel milk. This year, returning to Al Ain for World Camel Day was a full-circle moment. Standing where our journey began reminded us how far this mission has come.

I'm also incredibly grateful that our recent Islam Channel interview with Dr Christina Adams has reached nearly one million views across their social media platforms in just two months.

To everyone who has supported this journey, thank you. Your encouragement continues to inspire us to educate communities around the world about camels, camel milk and their role in a healthier, more sustainable future.
