I had the pleasure of making some tasty little treats for a wedding last week.

They had a lovely display for my bakes!

There was also a bit of a Harry Potter theme going on, certainly helped the day be magical šŸŖ„

Toying with the idea of doing some ā€œpop upsā€
I say toying as I donā€™t have any locations.

If you have any ideas for somewhere that would like a little pop up bake stall let me know!

Could be for payday treats or just the end of a normal week! Iā€™m literally typing as I think!

I think ideally an indoors locationā€¦just makes it easier and probably for just a couple of hours but open to discuss with anywhere that would be interested

So it looks like licenses will be required and I certainly donā€™t make enough from it to make it worth while.

I will keep an eye on the situation but at this point I kinda expect that in a couple of weeks I will open for the last time.

Thank you everyone for visiting! It means a lot. I first opened the shack over 2 years ago and there was one maybe 2 about at that time. now you canā€™t walk down the street without seeing cake for sale!

Of course, this isnā€™t the end of Brownielicious, just the end of the brownie shack!

Thank you again and keep an eye out for when I open for the last time!

What a week!

Record broken for the business but all the thanks goes to you.

Apart from records my bakes made it to weddings, Leeds festival, events and of course my usual wholesale orders, plus more!

Itā€™s a funny old week I have literally baked, slept and eaten this week and thatā€™s it.

Other bits and bobsā€¦
The shack will almost certainly close after one more opening (people keep turning up even though Iā€™m clearly not open). With the impending new rules for paying to have a shed/shack etc I will probably call it a day on that if it does materialise as expected.

On the plus side we are confirmed to be pitching up at the pumpkin patch this year. Even though our bakes have made it there the last few years we personally was not selling them. This year on multiple days we certainly will!

Have a great bank holiday weekend personally I wish I had caved in and got ALl in tickets at Wembley and gone todayā€¦I will have to remind myself for next year .

Time to celebrate with a takeaway I think.

We have been really happy to supply thepumpkinpatchproduce for the last few years in different formats.

This year we will be pitching up ourselves!!

Dates to be confirmed but I believe they intend to be open for pumpkin picking from the start of October and the entire month!

All being well we will be there every weekend(except the week we are away). Plus a day maybe 2 in the half term.

Donā€™t worry though, even if we are
Not there ourselves mimishorsebox will be there and she will have our treats for you instead! (If she survives Leeds festival šŸ¤­).

We are really looking forward to this and working with this great family!

Donā€™t panic itā€™s just on my mind so thought Iā€™d post my upcoming holiday and that rolled into thinking about Christmas!

October Holliday
Saturday 10th till Monday 19th

Saturday 19th till 4th Jan when I think schools reopen.

Christmas week will probably be Christmas boxes only. Howeverā€¦ I do have to talk to all my regulars so one or 2 things may change but going by the past 5/6 years Iā€™d imagine this will be the case this year.

If you can get selection boxes already then you can hear about my Christmas opening hours šŸ¤Ŗ
