Today I’m spending some proper time sample roasting and tasting — testing a few coffees, tweaking profiles and seeing what really stands out.

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes before a coffee makes it into a Danielle’s Coffee bag.

☕️ One-to-one barista training 🤎

I had the lovely Lola over this morning for a one-to-one barista training session.

We covered everything from espresso and getting the most out of the machine, through to milk steaming and latte art — with lots of practice (and plenty of coffee ☕️😂).

It was so lovely to spend the morning sharing what I’ve learnt over the years and helping Lola feel more comfortable behind the machine.

I absolutely love this side of Danielle’s Coffee — being able to share my passion for coffee and hopefully make someone feel a little more confident making great coffee themselves.

Meet the people behind Danielle’s Coffee ❤️☕️

Every bag of coffee has a story behind it — and so do the wonderful businesses and people I’m lucky enough to work with.

I’ve started bringing some of those stories together on my new website, and I’d love you to have a little look behind the scenes and meet some of the amazing people who serve Danielle’s Coffee every day.

From cafés and pubs to shops, restaurants and some very special local businesses, my partners are such a huge part of what makes Danielle’s Coffee what it is today.

And this is only the beginning…

I’m still working on bringing these stories to life even more, and I’m looking forward to sharing more of the wonderful people and businesses I’m lucky enough to work with.
