Our producers are getting ready for two markets this weekend!
10-12 tomorrow (27th) is our usual Friday Market - with a special visit from Easter Bunny!
10-2 Saturday we have another market with live music on the stage from 11 to add to the fun…
We have lots of lovely baking ready for tomorrow as you can see. Cauliflower cheese, quiches, pies, pasties, cake, pastries, Welsh cakes and more. Gluten free baking selection. Crafts. Art. Cards for all occasions. Hand made bags and hats. Home grown rhubarb, leeks and whatever else looks good first thing tomorrow (and Saturday). Home grown plants - tomato plants, overwintered sweet peas ready to plant out, native primroses (great for bees), garden perennials, herbs. Fresh cut flowers - fragrant narcissi, garden posies. Local eggs. The cafe is a welcoming space to enjoy a fresh filter coffee, or a cuppa with a small sample of cake.

🥚 Fresh Eggs for Sale 🥚

We currently have beautiful fresh eggs available in five different colours:
💚 Green
🤍 White
🤎 Cream
🤎 Dark Brown
🤎 Brown

All laid by my chickens available on my stand at Roke Farm.

We also have bottled water for sale on the stand if you need a refresh while you’re visiting!

Age is just a number…
Here are Bishops Waltham Country Market’s oldest and youngest members. They are aged 91 and 19!
Sheila is a textile artist, baker and home cook with decades of market experience. Tyler is an enthusiastic chicken farmer, proud of his 5 different breeds of free range chickens producing a range of colours of eggs.
The market cooperative is an inclusive community of local producers who share a passion for local, sustainable enterprise.
We have space for more cooks, bakers and new products.
If you are contemplating joining us, come along to Jubilee Hall on a Friday morning 10-12 and have a chat.
Age is definitely not a barrier!

It feels like Springtime!
Check out this wonderful selection of goodies our members are bringing to market tomorrow. There be lots more by the time we set up ready to open at 10am Jubilee Hall 6th March.
We have a range of gluten free home baking, proper home made marmalades, jams, chutneys and pickles. Local eggs. Crafts from hats to woodcraft. Original art from local artists. Soaps. Bags. Smiles. A warm welcome!
You can sit down in the cafe for a chat with friends and a cuppa.

If you fancy try some of our eggs and don’t want to come up to the farm, then down in the jubilee hall we sell our eggs there once a week on a Friday

Freshly baked rock cakes with your cuppa in market tomorrow.
There will be Welsh Cakes, daffodils and leeks (it’s St David’s day this weekend).
10-12 Jubilee Hall Friday.
Also eggs from Roke farm, beautiful crafts from local producers, tea cup bird feeders, plants, gluten free home baking sweet and savoury, cakes, meringues, chutneys, jams and marmalades.
