Morning Guys.
Some sad news I’m afraid. Damien’s has paused trading for the foreseeable.
I have had some health issues for some time, that have made running the business become increasingly challenging. I am no longer able to carry on as normal.
What a ride it’s been!
From day one, back in March 2020, when we were the very first to bring you our take on the American breakfast menu. And my days, did you love it! Months and months went by, and the novelty never seemed to wain. We’d literally be open for less than a minute, and both our cheque rails would be full to the brim! And then the phone would ring and ring.. still haunts me that sound! 😱🤣 When Damien’s was created, it’s fair to say that we borrowed inspiration from a certain chain who cannot be named for legal reasons (He was old, and he had a farm 🤣). Due to the Covid19 pandemic, they had closed their restaurants down in the UK and so a gap in the market was spotted. After much research and sourcing, which even included having specialist equipment shipped in from the US, We were ready to test and launch. A lot of love, effort and expense went into making Damien’s what it was. We were often copied over the years, but never bettered! We received some fabulous reviews, and to the best of my knowledge, we are the only business in our category, to have a five star rating on Just Eat! Even after more than four years!
That in mind, it’s nice to leave on a high note. We’ve worked with many wonderful people over the years, and although it’s always been ‘full on’, it’s always been a blast! Thanks to each and every one of you for being a part of it. It means a lot.
And finally, you guys. Wow.

Many of you have been with us right from the very start. That’s loyalty that has never gone unnoticed. We’ve loved that you’ve enjoyed your meals so much, that they’ve been part of your weekly routine. We’ve especially loved the little notes we’ve received over the years… CTD…
