Buzzing news, 🐝 🍯
From hive to shelf, our neighbours honey is back in, crafted just a few steps from the shop door, comprising mainly of rapeseed and Blackthorn blossom at the moment, this rich thick spreadable sunshine in a jar “or straight from the spoon” we won’t tell 😃 is back on the shelf and it’s believed to be good for hayfever sufferers. Delicious.

This picture does these no justice but introducing a new tasty treat that will be coming in from next week, brand-new 🌟 from The Dorset Game Larder introducing barbecue glazed venison skewers, also mixed game skewers and wow, they were delicious 🤤 
On a barbecue I think these are going to be quite a treat, but on this occasion I simply put them in the air fryer for 15 minutes and I possibly did overdo them to be honest, I reckon 10 minutes would’ve been perfect but nonetheless it did them know injustice, the barbecue glaze on them has a lovely taste. It’s barbecuing with a very mild spicy side flavour to it that’s not overpowering that then goes perfectly with the venison.

Goodness we’ve got some treats in the Chiller this week, we have barbecue glazed pork steaks, we have beef burgers, lamb and mint burgers, Wild boar and apple burgers, plain venison burgers, wild garlic and venison burgers, we have honey roast glazed pork belly bites, pork belly slices, chops, steaks, and belly slabs, leg and shoulder joints, we have Wild boar trim, beef short ribs, beef brisket, beef rump and ribeye steaks, teriyaki marinated chicken breasts, also barbecue, and black garlic marinated chicken breast breasts, plain ones and thighs included, duck breasts, faggots, and that’s before I even start listing all of the different flavoured sausages, something tempting for all be for the barbecue the grill or the oven come and treat yourself and support a local business at the same time 😃 oh and we’ve just had another cheese delivery 😮‍💨😃

For anyone popping in on their way home today, or ready for next week we have another lovely little stand opened, which is just started to add some quirky little items for your home, the brown trouts is actually Hand carved out of wood and hand painted, this is fairly unique and then taxidermy style cased it was Hand carved by a man called David Sherratt and I would say something that’s quite special. Definitely worth coming in to have a look. 😃
