Unfortunately I have to announce that this week will be our final week of milking cows here at Middle Dairy. From next weekend our lovely girls will be going to a new home.

We're very grateful for the support you've all shown us over the past couple of years - milk will be available as normal until Friday.

The dry cows are having a proper holiday now! Seeing as their paddock was gradually turning from desert to mud bath we've managed to find them a 'holiday let'! A mini road trip and we have some happy cows making this picture perfect scene 🐮

Hot hot moo cows. Normally our girls would spend most of the day snuggled down in the straw but in this weather they just don't know what to do with themselves! Today they were all treated with a fly repellant which should make them a little more comfortable at least. It will also help avoid nasty summer mastitis - a type spread by flies.🐂 ☀
