Olleco We work with the food industry - supplying premium cooking oils, collecting food waste and used cooking oil, converting it into renewable energy & biofuels.

Olleco’s vision is ‘100% resource recovery for the food industry’ and our story began more than 30 years ago when used cooking oil was collected and used in animal feed. When this was banned due to tighter regulations, a huge amount of used cooking oil ended up in landfill or was illegally poured into the country's drains. As a solution we looked at other ways to recover the value from this precio

As an active member of NEODA (National Edible Oil Distributors Association), Olleco helps ensure the integrity of the vegetable oil industry.

Last week, Janine Barter, Olleco’s Head of Procurement and NEODA's Vice President, gave a detailed look into everything the association covers. The event also saw some valuable insight from a range of oil industry experts - it certainly gives us more to think about when we see those fields of rapeseed growing.
