It’s English Wine Week next week, and we will be celebrating in the vineyard on Sunday 21st between 12 and 5. The weather forecast is promising, do come along and enjoy a glass or two in the sunshine.☀️🍸🍾

We’re making a small change to our schedule this month. Next weekend we will not be open as normal, but will now be open on Sunday, 21st June instead, to celebrate English Wine Week. We’re looking forward to welcoming you on 21st, when we hope there will be some lovely midsummer weather🤞, just perfect for enjoying a glass or two of wine in the sun. 🍾🍾🍾

We have an Open Day on Sunday, May 10th. The vineyard is just beginning to come to life after what seems like a long winter, and we are hoping 🙏for no more frosts!
Do come along between 11 and 4, have a wander round the vines, sample some wine🍸and, of course, you will be most welcome to buy a bottle🍾 to celebrate the arrival of spring.

Just a reminder that we are open this coming Sunday, 12th, from 11 till 3. The picture shows Oscar waiting to welcome you (although buds are yet to burst so there is not so much greenery at present!). Do come along, sample the wine and look round the vineyard.

We are open for an extra day this coming Saturday, to celebrate the launch of the The trail encompasses vineyards and wineries in Nottinghamshire Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and, of course, Northamptonshire. The aim is to encourage people to visit these vineyards, savour the produce, meet the producers, and enjoy the beautiful landscapes in which they are situated. We are open on Saturday from 11 till 3. And it might just be a convenient time to buy some last minute fizz for your Easter celebrations.

Spring is coming - at least that’s what we all thought yesterday. And the best news for us is that we’ve finished the winter pruning!
Yesterday’s sunshine ☀️ is a sign that spring IS on the way. Easter will be soon, and Mothers’ Day is only a week away.
If you would like a bottle 🍾for either of those days (or indeed any other!) please do come along to our open day on Sunday. Perhaps you’d just like a taste, or a walk round a beautifully trimmed field of vines. Either way, do come along between 11 and 3.

The snowdrops are only just coming out, and the rain is reminding us that it’s still very much winter. HOWEVER Valentine’s Day is coming up, and we will be braving the weather to open on Sunday for those that need a celebratory bottle. Do come along from 11-3. Don’t forget to bring a brolly!

A little contrast to yesterday’s post - these pictures were sent to us from Black Rock Dreams, Tobago. We’re not sure that any other bottle of Stonyfield has travelled so far, and are delighted to know that the new year was seen in with a bottle of fizz from Blisworth!

A rather bleak picture, but roughly what we are expecting to see on Sunday (perhaps with added snow or rain falling) when we were to have an open day.
