Saturday: Unfortunately Hebburn Food Market has been cancelled tomorrow but of course the right decision 🐷

Market update - this weekend's markets are cancelled

With gusts of 38 to 40mph forecast, we've made the call to cancel both South Shields and Hebburn markets this weekend.

Remember, its wind gusts NOT wind speed.

Gazebos, stalls and high winds don't mix, and the safety of our traders, visitors and team comes first.

It's never a decision we take lightly, especially knowing how much work our traders put in ahead of a market day.

Thanks for your understanding.

We'll be back as soon as the weather settles - see you then.

Stay safe and hold onto your hats 💨
