Grow local. Make local. Use local.
This matters now more than ever.
We’re lucky to have incredible food producers right here in Cornwall, but much of what we eat still comes from elsewhere.
If we can grow it here, why aren’t we using it here?
Roots to Resilience is about bringing farmers, growers and food businesses together to start closing that gap.
It’s a simple idea, use more of what we already have, support local, and build something stronger for the future.
Grow local. Make local. Use local.
Cornwall produces incredible food, yet much of what we eat comes from elsewhere.
That’s not a capability problem.
It’s a connection problem.
Farmers grow it.
Food businesses need it.
But the system in between isn’t working as it should.
Roots to Resilience is about closing that gap.
We’re bringing together farmers, growers, producers and food businesses to map:
• what we grow locally
• what we actually use
• and where the gaps are
Because if we can grow it here, why are we not using it here?
This is about building the evidence to make the case for change, and the investment in infrastructure needed to deliver it.

If you’re part of Cornwall’s food system, your insight will help shape that evidence.
Let’s start connecting what we grow with what we use.
