Who we are? With the rise in popularity of Korean food over the last few years, there’s definitely been a significant breakout of restaurants and supermarkets in London and now the cuisine is also spreading beyond the capital, with venues flourishing in Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield and Edinburgh. So, we, at K-food, felt it’s time we brought t
he Asian tantalising gastronomic delights to the foodies of Bolton. We are delighted to be Bolton’s first Korean Takeaway who also serves the delicacy as halal for those who prefer their food to be prepared that way. We aim to be a new addition to your interest in Korea’s recent creative wave, known as hallyu establishing South Korea as a major cultural force. The founders of K-Food have come all the way from New Malden in Surrey, the home to the largest concentration of Koreans – almost 20,000 – earning it the nickname “Korea Town” and they experienced the vibrant culture and its food first hand for many years before deciding to make Bolton their home. Korean food having been a critical feature of the rise in popularity of Korean culture, the K-Food team, with a chef who has 15 years of experience in Korean cuisine as a head chef in restaurants all around London, have added in their menu everything from kimchi to bibimbap, fried chicken to fried wings or Teriyaki Don to Yekai Udon meaning there’s always something for everyone.
