SOLD OUT !

It’s peony time!
I’ll be cutting the peonies on Friday morning so they’ll be available for collection Friday afternoon and Saturday morning for customers who have PRE ORDERED. I will not have any available that haven’t been pre ordered.

My peonies are Sarah Bernhardt - full fluffy pink bundles of petals. I cut them at the soft bud stage so they will open in your vase at home.
(They are not like the hard bullets that you get in supermarkets that never open 😉)

Order your peonies here https://www.cherrytreewillow.co.uk/product-page/posy-of-peonies

Willow wreath bases aren’t just for Christmas.
With a bit of twine they make a useful drying rack for summer blooms, herbs and grasses 😊

We had a big thunderstorm last night with lots of very welcome rain so it’s rather sauna like out here today.
This young willow patch was looking lush so I thought I’d give it 5 minutes of fame. 😍

Can you help me to identify this rose?
I’ve tried plant apps to no avail.

As a trade for a petrol tool that I couldn’t handle, I was given about 15 of these roses that had been dug up as part of a build project.
I planted them all up in large pots to over winter and they have now started to flower (and have black spot).
The flowers are much more beautiful than I anticipated with many ruffles of deep pink petals and a gentle fragrance.
I’d like to identify them so I can plant them in the right place and look after them properly.
Any ideas?

Earlier this week I visited for a great tour and talk about plant propagation. It was thoroughly enjoyable. The visit was organised by Angela at for the north west region of members.
Whilst there I saw my first Swift of the year so with swifts in the air I thought I’d better remind you that I also have swifts in the workshop too!
I’ll be teaching the willow swifts workshop here on the 1st of August. Pop over to the website for details or see the link in todays stories 😊
