I won’t be hosting wreath workshops here at Cherry Tree Willow this year. I’ve decided to give my time to workshops for Fortalice instead - a local domestic abuse refuge.

We’ve had lots of cloud and a generous amount of rain here over the past couple of days. It’s been a refreshing respite from the heat and a little reminder that autumn is just around the corner.
Why not ring the seasonal changes with an oval wreath this autumn?🍂

As always these oval bases are handmade from British grown willow are are available on both a retail and wholesale basis 😊

Flanders Red willow does well here so in February 2025 I planted an additional patch. It’s doing very well despite the heat and dry weather and the deer have paid it very little attention too!
It’s a useful all rounder - long enough rods for wreath making, some thick enough rods for sticks and frames, and some fine enough rods for basketry too.
It’s attractive and would make a great windbreak planting or summer screen for privacy.
The rods dry to a lovely a lovely autumnal shade - so what’s not to love!
