The Bolton Food and Drink Festival kicks off today and takes over the town centre for the next four days!

There’ll be food and drink from all over the place, but one of the best things about the festival is seeing it celebrate some of the very best that Bolton has to offer. ❤️

🍻 Bolton The Bolton Gin Company are running the Acoustic Stage Bar this year and they’ll have FOUR Bank Top cask beers pouring:

💙 We are incredibly proud to announce that Bank Top Brewery has become a Platinum Patron of Bolton Hospice.

Over the years, we’ve supported countless Hospice fundraisers with prizes, donations and whatever else we could do to help. But following our recent growth and success, this year felt like the right time to do something more.

Bolton has supported Bank Top Brewery for over 30 years, so it’s only right that we give something back to the town we love. And what better way to do that than by supporting Bolton Hospice—a place that has meant so much to so many local families.

The care, comfort and support the Hospice provides is invaluable, and we’re incredibly proud to stand alongside them as a Platinum Patron.

Here’s to giving back, supporting our community and making a difference together. 💙🍻

Not even remotely beer related but...

Last year we installed a bird feeder outside the front of the brewery to encourage and help sustain more birds in the local area, especially with us having the lovely community garden at the front of the Brewery too.

Well, today we have some newcomers, a family of Long-tailed T**s has found the fat balls and seed.

P.s. maybe we should get a feeder cam so some of you more keen bird watchers might be able to tell us what other species visit us 👀

Yesterday, on one of the hottest and busiest days we have had so far this year, we brewed something new and something quite special.

Something to celebrate this weekends huge achievement of Bolton Wanderers Official getting back into the Championship.

So we bring you

SCHU-PER WHITES

A 4.1% (do you see the link? 👀) pale with one of the biggest hop doses into the copper we have ever done.

With Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops added in equal measure across the boil, this beauty smells amazing!

And just to polish this off we are then dry hopping in to tank with a new hop for us, which is "Krush".
Quite frankly, because we just loved the name given this convincing win. 😁

£11 from each firkin sold will be donated to Bolton Wanderers in the Community to help support their efforts around Bolton.

The clip hasn't even been finalised yet, but we are hoping to get this to pubs starting next week.
