Something we don’t promote often enough!

Our homemade cheesecakes are always very popular. Layers of deliciousness in a glass jar! Each week we do cheesecakes but we change the flavours each week too. We always do a fruity one and a chocolate one and sometimes we add something a little different in there too!

The biscuits crumb has Smithills Farm butter in it, the cream cheese has Smithills Farm double cream in, then topped with different toppings.

Don’t forget, you can add jars of double cream to these aswell. 260ml jars are £2.50 and 500ml jars are £3.50.

Auntie Ann has brought back the giant Twix this week. Homemade shortbread biscuits made using Smithills Farm butter, caramel filling and coated in milk chocolate! Absolutely delicious 😍

Let’s talk about our egg boxes…….🐓🐓🐓
It’s now 6 months since we swapped from the old, grey egg boxes with stickers that we had to manually stick on to our funky, green pre-stickered boxes. How cool do the new ones look by the way? 😎

Now, 6 months on we are still re-using some of our grey boxes on delivery! This shows how good our egg box returns are! So good to see.
It actually makes me smile that we still have them returning and we are still able to re-use them.

Our free range farm eggs are from our chickens here at Smithills and we also use the eggs from Richard Ashworths, Sibberings Farm in Blackrod who is not just another local farmer we are supporting but a good family friend too.

Our eggs are available in the shops at the farm or on delivery for £2.00 half dozen.

What do you use your eggs for? Frying? Poaching? Scrambling? Boiling? Baking? We are very interested to know 🥚🥚🥚

Many of our doorstep customers will have woken up this morning to an invite for our annual open evenings at Smithills Farm.

🐄Wed 16th and Thurs 17th September 2026🐄
🐄5.30pm til 8.30pm both evenings🐄

Our annual open evenings are just over a week away. We hope you can all make it.

Why do we hold these open evenings? 👇
Firstly, it’s us saying thankyou to many of our loyal doorstep customers who support our business by having our homemade products delivered on a weekly basis. We welcome you around the farm to showcase what we do and how we do it. We promote our homemade produce and our doorstep delivery service. It’s everything cow and dairy related! Rain or shine, it’s a couple of great evenings for your family. We have plenty of undercover space if it’s raining so don’t let the weather put you off.
