Scottish Piggy Partners is a family run business in the Northern Highlands producing free range pork, from birth to finishing, weaners and finishers, for sale. See below for retail prices, or alternatively read about joining our co-op. It is also a cooperative that provides pork for people who don't want to be vegetarian, can't afford to go to the local/good butchers, and want to know that their meal had a good and meaningful life before landing on their plate. Our pigs are various cross breeds that give the meat a good colour and stronger taste than you will find from your local supermarket. The crosses are of Landrace, Tamworth, Kune Kune, Saddle Back, and Gloucester Old Spot. They are supplied with food, water, shelter, space to roam, company, cuddles and scratches, and the best of Scottish peat mud to roll around in :)

Various roasts, sausages etc may be available separately. Everyone in the co-op buys into a pig or half a pig, by supplying labour to make the project work. Some members even do 600 mile round trips to spend time with the pigs! We also understand that some of you will never want to and we support that too by never highlighting the lives of the pigs we are fattening. They may be referred to, and may be seen in pictures, but we will never ask you to get more involved than you can physically and emotionally cope with. If you want to come meet your pig, bring friends to meet your pig, or even (wisely) bring your kids to meet your pig, you can. However, if you don't your pig will still benefit greatly from the life you have enabled it to live. As this is a fledgling project we are still working out some details and hope to have prices for you all shortly. If you are interested in joining just PM us and we'll give you more details!
