The sun came out today for the Butterfly Conservation Butterfly & Wildflower Event 🌞 Lots to see and highlights of the day - Northern Brown Argus Butterfly, large Skipper Butterfly and Bee orchids spotted! Also Simon, a Butterfly Conservation Trustee was here and is cycling the Kirkpatrick C2C route - raising money for the Borderlands Northern Brown Argus Project!

We’ve got a new addition on the farm… everyone meet Evelyn❤️

She is a beautiful highland, we’ve introduced her to all of our herd and she’s settled in well🤩

She’ll soon be meeting our bull Alastair for the first time!

We love this little butterfly ❤️
We are working with our land to help improve the butterfly habitat here on our farm and hope to see all butterflies benefit and specifically the Northern Brown Argus ❤️

The Northern Brown Argus is one of the 60 beautiful butterflies found across the UK. Will it be Britain's Favourite Butterfly?

The cows were in getting their 1st jag of the blue tongue vaccine. They’ll get another jag in 3 weeks to be fully vaccinated✅

They were definitely happy to be getting back out to the field🥰

We combined our herds yesterday, they were fairly calm after sorting out their pecking order🤣

Our first farm tour is on tomorrow at 10am (Sat 2nd)

We’ve got 4 spaces left in our all weather trailer, come see our new arrivals within our highland and belted Galloway herd. Including a very special white highland calf❤️
