Local vegetable grower specialising in caulifllower, broccoli, variety of cabbages, british sprouts, potatoes and other vegetable produce

07/10/2026

Our 2026 trial days are well underway at Windy Ridge Veg! 🥦🥬

We’re pleased to be hosting demonstration sites for Agri Seed, Rijk Zwaan and Bayer Crop Science UK - Seminis , giving brassica growers the chance to see a range of varieties out in the field.

The weather might be a bit miserable today, but the crops certainly aren’t complaining! With brighter weather forecast for tomorrow, there’s still plenty of time to come along and have a look.

If you’re a brassica grower or work within the sector and haven’t visited yet, it’s not too late! We’d love to see you at Windy Ridge. 🥦

We’re proud to be featured in this great piece highlighting how surplus fresh produce can help feed people instead of going to waste.

As our Managing Director, Mark Nundy, explains:
"Working with FareShare helps us to make the most of our surplus crops, which come from over-average yields we have during the year. It feels really good to know that everything we produce now goes to a good home. If you're not already working with FareShare, please get in touch with them. The partnership means that none of our surplus cabbages, cauliflower and broccoli go to waste."

A fantastic initiative making a real difference!
