Welcome to Queenies Kitchen page, so called because my sunday name is Elizabeth and my sister Suzanne is known as Queenie by some of her colleagues ! We grew up baking and making alongside our mum and have continued the tradition for friends and family for many years so decided we should spread our wings a little so here goes! All ingredients are of the best quality and eggs are always f

ree range, as we are a "cottage industry" everything can be adapted to individual requirements and we have a good repertoire of GLUTEN FREE recipes which are tried and tested. We will create bespoke hampers consisting of a selection of jams, chutneys, pickles and jellies ( depending on season) each basket/tray will be cellophane wrapped in an appropriate style. Homemade cakes and tray bakes include old favourites such as lemon drizzle, moist tea loaves, date and walnut, carrot cake, victoria sandwich , chocolate cakes , ginger parkin, chocolate brownies, malteser blondies, muffins, cupcakes etc. Our christmas hampers can include jewelled fruit cakes or iced cake, christmas pudding, jams, chutneys, florentines, fudge ,coconut ice, truffles, peppermint creams all hand made in small batches in our kitchen. As this is a new venture we can only show a sample of some of the things we can make and create so please ask and we will do our best to please. Naturally we must mention prices which do have to cover items such as packaging, if you have your own basket/ tray / container we will happily use it as that is the biggest packing expense.We dont really factor in our time as this is our hobby and we love to do it !
