Hereward the Wake is back in the Hereward Heartlands today on Hereward Oak Day at Bowthorpe Park Farm. It is here at Witham on the Hill that Hereward held land. Rory G is here regaling tales to all.
Also today we announce the Hereward Heartlands Trail a five mile hike around Hereward's lands which will have its official opening early next year.
However, you can already hike it by downloading the GPX file at: herewardthewake.co.uk/hereward-heartlands
