Before we head into our next chapter at HELCH, Brigitte is getting one final outing of 2026 — and we’re heading back to one of our favourite spots, Old Parlour in Spetisbury.

So if you’ve been meaning to come and get your Grate Expectations fix from the trailer… this is your last chance this year.

GRATE EXPECTATIONS HAS GOT A HOME! 🏠

After months of popping up at events, weddings and festivals, serving up ridiculous amounts of mac & cheese from our little trailer, we’re taking the next big step!

We’re coming to HELCH Market Bournemouth! 🎉

Yep. An actual kitchen. An actual home. Somewhere you’ll be able to come and get your Grate Expectations fix without having to hunt down our trailer first 😂

You’ll find us at 3 Gervis Place, Bournemouth, serving up our signature mac & cheese, loaded with all your favourite toppings and plenty of cheesy goodness 🧀

We’re not quite ready to give you an opening date just yet. There’s still plenty going on behind the scenes, but we’re working hard to get everything ready and we’ll be opening VERY soon 👀

This honestly feels like such a massive moment for our little business. What started with an idea, a lot of experimenting with mac & cheese and a trailer has somehow led us here, and we genuinely can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.

And don’t worry, the trailer isn’t going anywhere! ❤️

We’ll still be out and about at events, weddings and private hires. We’ve just got a home to come back to now!

Over the next few weeks we’ll be showing you behind the scenes as the kitchen comes together, sharing more of what’s going on the menu and, of course, revealing that all important opening date.
