Got a story worth an hour?

We’re launching Hop Topics at 20 Arches: a monthly talk night on the first Thursday of each month. It’s one speaker and one fascinating subject, told in two halves of 30 minutes with a drink break in the middle.

We’re looking for speakers. You don’t need to be a professor. You just need to know your subject inside out and love talking about it. History, science, nature, engineering, crime, your unusual job, your strange hobby: if it makes people say “I never knew that”, we want to hear it.

-Speakers are paid
-A projector and screen are available
-A friendly crowd of around 20 curious locals
-No sales pitches. It’s about the subject, not your business.

Interested, or know someone who’d be brilliant? Message us, fill in our online form or pop in and ask at the bar for more details.

🍺 DROP THE TAP TAX!

We’re backing the campaign to support independent pubs, breweries, local jobs and the communities around them.

So, on Friday 9 October, we’re getting involved in Drop the Pint Day and knocking 50p off a pint of Verdant Helles L***r. 🍻

Want to support the campaign too? Check out the link in our bio, sign the petition and contact our MP Sarah Bool to show your support.

Independent pubs and breweries are a big part of what makes our town what it is. Let’s keep them that way.

Right… we’re going to be cheeky and ask again. 🍻

We’ve been nominated for Best Pub in South Northamptonshire 2026, and we’d bloody love to win it.

Not because we think we’re perfect.
Not because we have the biggest pub, the most tables or the loudest TVs.

But because of what you lot have helped us build here.

Great b**r. Great music. Loads of laughs. And, most importantly, a community of genuinely brilliant people and dogs!

So if 20 Arches is your kind of pub, we’d really appreciate your vote.

It takes less than a minute and every vote makes a difference.

Vote here: https://linkbreak.ing/xk0wgpenp

And if you’ve already voted… thank you. 🍻
