Twin Peaks has landed.
It's a Dunkel, a traditional German dark l***r built almost entirely on Munich malt. Where a stout leans on roasted, burnt flavours, a Dunkel gets its colour and depth from the malt itself, so you get rich bready, toasty, faintly chocolatey notes without any harshness. Clean l***r fermentation keeps the whole thing crisp rather than heavy.
Goes rather well with a slice of cherry pie, if you're that way inclined.
Part of our San Francisco L***r Series, a nod to the city where Antony first caught the brewing bug before Kettlesmith existed.
5.1% ABV. Cans, mini kegs, and on tap at the bar and brewery when we've got it pouring.
