This was a first time for both my companion and myself, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
My companion had a mixed kebab flat bread, while I had kebab meat, and fries in a box.
We didn't think it would be filling, but it really was. The food was delicious, and sauces to accompany the meal were beautiful.
We would definitely recommend this place.

I had bangers and mash, which wasn't too bad, and my companion had scampi. We were impressed with the scampi, as it was cooked to perfection.

The food was ok. That's about all I can say about it. The staff were miserable, and the food was mediocre at best.
The ice-cream however was beautiful.

The food was absolutely gorgeous. Top tier quality.
The people were very friendly and efficient and the food excellent quality. We would definitely recommend this little gem.

We both had sirloin steak, followed by desert. Apart from the mains being really greasy, the food was lovely, and the staff were chatty and friendly.
It's pricy, but we'd definitely recommend it now.

My companion and I went for a meal here today. We were served by a lady named Irene, who was really lovely, and attentive.
The meal itself was lovely too, especially the beef. For once, it didn't taste greasy. I'm not referring to the amount of fat on the meat, I mean the actual taste. This was the first time, I actually tasted the beef. Usually with the Farmhouse Inns, the beef just tastes fatty and awful.

A group of us went for a meal at Burton House, Boston, Lincolnshire today.
We were less than impressed with our meals.
Prices are high, and portion sizes are low. Also there weren't many vegetarian options available, unless you like salad in winter.
The only meal that was half way decent, was the mixed grill, but even then, it wasn't cooked right, and there was only half a chicken breast.
We tried desert while we were there, in hope it would be filling. The chocolate brownie was nice, but the cheesecake tasted powdery.
We definitely would not recommend Burton House.

My companion and I called in to Brigg Garden Centre yesterday. While we were there, we thought we'd try their carvery.
On a whole the meal was lovely. Our only gripe, were the roast potatoes. They were chewy, and were quite likely left over from the day before.
Other than that, the carvery was lovely.
We would definitely recommend a visit.

The gammon meal was lovely.
The loaded chicken strips were cold and were absolutely swimming in chilli. The cheese sauce on top, suggested they had been sat that long, it had formed a crust.
Beechwood farm, what has happened to you lately? You used to be pretty good.

Millards chippy in Immingham.
A friend and I ordered for delivery.
My friend ordered a burger, chips and mushy peas, and received an empty bread roll.
I ordered chips, fishcake, curry sauce and peas. The peas and curry sauce were so watered down, they were just coloured water. Also they were in ridiculous little pots that warped with the heat, and leaked all over the place.
The fishcake was grey and sloppy, and only tasted of mint.
The whole thing was only single wrapped, and the paper was torn all over the place.
We've ordered from this chippy lots of times, and never had a bad experience.
Apparently it's now under new ownership, but if they carry on the way they're going, I can't see them being in business for long.
Unless they're willing to do things properly, we would definitely NOT recommend Millards chip shop.

My companion and I stopped in at The Trawl, in Grimsby today.
We both ordered from the Mix It Up menu.
I had crispy chicken strips, while my companion had Southern Fried skewers.
We both thought the food was lovely, which was lucky, as no staff bothered to come and ask if our meal was satisfactory.
We would recommend The Trawl, but don't expect the staff to be overly helpful.
