So, a quick resume of our recent visit to Mallorca for a wedding.
We struggled in our resort and in most others to be fair, as the majority of them are craft and world beer deserts.
We were staying in Palma Nova and the only place we found locally was a smash burger bar named B3stival, who to be fair had a good range of Belgian beers and Spanish craft.
We were 10 minutes from Magaluf, which there were some nice walks out of. In fact anywhere was a nice walk out of Magaluf.
I quickly realised that we needed to head to Palma to truly quench our thirst.
Here’s what we found…
* La Velo Brewery
Proper brewpub with house beers, IPAs, lagers and good atmosphere.
* Atomic Garden
Alternative/pub feel with good beer selection and music.
* Craft beer Toutatis
Excellent Belgian and international craft beer selection in a really characterful setting. Known particularly for Belgian beers and rotating craft taps.
* Cerveseria Tramuntana
Proper brewpub feel with good craft selection and lots of local beers.
To be fair this trip wasn’t meant to be based round finding great beer (for a change) but it does show that you don’t have to just cope with the multi national trash wherever you go.
