Dear Friends of The Big Bear

We created The Big Bear in 2015; having planted our first orchard in 2010 the business has grown alongside our trees. Over the past years, we have so enjoyed meeting, working with and serving our customers and business partners. The support we have had from our community has been huge and so important to us. Therefore it is with great sadness that we announce that in the new year, we are closing the business.

We have put all our energy into The Big Bear to push the business forward; in order to do this properly we would need to move to a larger site. However, planning battles, and our combined age of 120, means we have run out of steam. For many reasons, we are now ready to retire.

We are hoping that The Big Bear name will continue, and that someone with loads of energy will be able to carry the brand forward. We will keep you updated.

Again, we couldn’t have come this far without you all. We thank you sincerely for your support, encouragement and love over the last eight years.
