🌶️🇬🇧 THIS IS WHERE THE FLAVOUR STARTS.

No jars of pre-prepared chilli.
No giant tubs from Costco.
No shortcuts.

Just fresh, English-grown chillies, prepared by us in the kitchen and turned into sauces from scratch.

For us, making a great chilli sauce isn’t simply about making something hot. It starts with the ingredients — their freshness, flavour, colour and character.

Yes, using fresh produce means more preparation. More chopping. More time. And occasionally considerably more washing up! 😂

But we think you can taste the difference in the finished bottle.

We’re proud to know what’s going into our sauces and even prouder when we can use fantastic produce grown here in England. 🇬🇧🌶️

🔥⭐ Another 2 Great Taste stars! ⭐🔥

We’re delighted to share that a Smokey Hot Honey we produce for a local company has been awarded an incredible 2 stars at the Great Taste Awards.

Collaborations like this are a big part of what we love doing — taking an idea, developing the flavour, producing it in our Basingstoke kitchen and seeing the finished product recognised by the Great Taste judges.

And this one takes our tally to an amazing 14 Great Taste stars since 2022 across our own products and the products we manufacture for others. 🏆

We’ve always valued the Great Taste process, not just for the stars, but for the independent feedback that helps us keep developing and improving what we produce.

⭐🏆 GREAT TASTE… EVERY YEAR SINCE 2022

Every year since 2022, Hornet Chilli has proudly been recognised by the Great Taste Awards.

This year is no exception.

We’re especially proud that both of our BBQ sauces are now Great Taste Award winners, with Golden Flame joining our ever-growing collection of award-winning products.

Winning a Great Taste Award is about far more than receiving a star. It’s about putting your products in front of some of the UK’s most respected food judges and receiving honest, independent feedback.

Sometimes the judges agree completely. Sometimes opinions differ.

And that’s exactly why we value the process.

Every comment, every suggestion and every critique helps us refine our recipes, improve our products and keep raising the bar. We never stop learning, and we never stop striving to make the next batch even better than the last.

Awards are something we’re incredibly proud of, but the feedback behind those awards is just as valuable. It pushes us to innovate, improve and continue producing the bold flavours that define Hornet Chilli.
