A really exciting day for our stallions, with two runners stepping up in black type company and both running with great credit.

Rising Empire (3yo c**t by Bangkok), bred by Simon Davies at DahlBury, produced a strong effort to finish 4th in the Italian 2000 Guineas over a mile.

At Goodwood Racecourse, Galaxy Star (filly by Planteur) outrunning her odds to run a big race in the British EBF Daisy Warwick Stakes, finishing 4th against a strong field.

Two runners, two competitive efforts at black type level — exactly the sort of performances you want to see.

Congratulations to all their connections.
