EXPERIENCED STOCKPERSON REQUIRED
We are a mixed farm comprising of cereals, potatoes and cattle based in North Angus, Scotland, looking for someone for our 180 mostly Spring calving herd.
Main duties to include
Feeding and bedding using modern machinery
Calving
Calf care( dehorning/tagging etc)
Dosing and injecting
Fence repairs
Accurate record keeping
Assisting with other farm duties
The successful candidate must be familiar with a beef suckler system, able to work independently or with others and have a passion for livestock.
A 3 bedroom family cottage is available on farm 3 miles from the nearest town.
Competitive wage related to experience.
