A bit soggy out there today, wasn’t it? ☔️

Luckily, we had the important stuff covered… coffee, cake and plenty of reasons to forget about the weather for a while. ☕️🍰

Thanks to everyone who came in and cosied up with us today. You lovely lot definitely made the grey skies feel a little less grey. ❤️

We’re now closed for a couple of days, but don’t panic — Max’s will be back on Friday with the coffee machine fired up and the cake counter doing what it does best.

This little beauty is a plant-based pain au chocolat and it’s every bit as delicious as it looks. 🤤

Max’s is open today and right through until Tuesday, serving up tasty plant-based snacks, cakes, pastries, drinks and more.

No lectures. No scary food. 😂 Just really good stuff that happens to be plant-based.

So if you’ve never tried plant-based food before… maybe start with chocolate. Seems sensible to us. 🍫🥐

🚨 Great news… Max’s Café is back open from tomorrow! 🎉

And once we’re open, we’re staying open every single day throughout the summer holidays until September. 🙌

Tomorrow is a general admission day at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, so if you’re visiting the animals, why not pop in for a bite to eat? Then from Saturday, our Summer of Fun officially begins! ☀️🎈

Who’s coming for a portion of chips and gravy? Because, whether you’re plant-based or not, potatoes are vegan, and chips have been getting away with it all these years!

So, whether you’re after chips, a Cornish roll, coffee and cake, or one of our other tasty treats, we’ve got you covered.

Pop into Max’s Café and treat yourself to one of our delicious plant-based Cornish rolls, a freshly brewed coffee, or one of our other tasty treats… while the little ones burn off some energy in our playground just outside the cafe.
