Brewood Cricket Club Brewood Cricket Club offers cricket for all standards. DIRECTIONS:
Brewood is a small village in South Staffordshire.

Five Senior sides on Saturdays, one Sunday team, Women's section, Junior section, Ability Section and great social side to the club throughout the year! The best approach is from the A449 linking Wolverhampton and Stafford. If you are coming from the South leave the M54 at Junction 2 and head north on the A449 towards Stafford. Go across two islands and then look for the traffic lights and the Fou

r Ashes Pub on the right hand side of the cross roads. At this point turn left and head towards Brewood. Follow the lane until you get to the T-junction. At this junction turn left and follow the lane round the two tight bends. As you see the first bungalow on the left the Cricket Club is immediately on the right. From the North, get to Gailey Island (the junction of the A5 with the A449). At the island take the A449 towards Wolverhampton. At the cross roads with the traffic lights and the Four Ashes pub on the left, turn right across the A449 towards Brewood.

The night finally arrived. Last night, almost a year after it was won, we finally got to deliver the 🫎 Come Dine With Me fundraising dinner auction prize, won by the Goode family. Moz, Mozzette & Naughty But Nice Chef Nick S delivered an enormous 6 course dinner.

The 8 recipients worked their way through canapés & fizz, artisan home made breads, starter of crab ravioli & butter/chilli/lemon sauce with samphire, mains of beef Wellington with prioper mash and seasonal veg, sweet of chocolate & salted caramel tart with home made ice cream. Everything homemade. Finished with a cheese board. Hopefully we left the kitchen as we found it.

Massive thanks to Nick S & Laura for literally giving up their time to do this and being true to their word.

Thank you to the Goode family for having us and being so welcoming. For putting their hands in their pockets to win this prize. As we found out last night from Rob's Dad, this fundraising, led by Ian and the team from The Swan, has now raised over £20k for Cancer Research. Just incredible.

Food - due to a cancellation, the club are doing food tonight from the kitchen hatch - 5 or 3 piece SFC chicken strips / fries. Pls order at the hatch and wait for your food as we cannot bring it to you sorry.

🏏 A special mention for one of our junior players following a fantastic performance for the 2nd XI this weekend.

This young cricketer has improved year on year and continues to impress every time they take the field. Their hard work and dedication are paying off, with 17 wickets already this season for the 2nd XI.

This weekend’s highlight was a superb five-wicket haul, helping the side put in another strong performance.

Keep working hard, keep enjoying your cricket, and the success will continue to follow. We’re all proud of your progress and look forward to seeing what comes next. 👏🏏
