💰 £120 1 cubic metre / double cab tipper pick up truck load, £220 2 cubic metres

💧 low moisture content below 20% ready for final seasoning at home and burning

✅ average 8 - 10 inches long
✅ tipped loose on delivery
✅ mix of oak, beech, ash, birch, sycamore, with a little bit of willow and douglas fir
✅ seasoned for minimum of 1 year, most has been 2.5 years

Government guidelines for seasoning firewood…

“This wood is not suitable for burning until it has been dried. You should not burn wood until it has a moisture content of 20% or less.

“Wet wood contains moisture which creates smoke and harmful particulates when burnt. As well as being harmful to your health and the environment, this can damage your stove and chimney and is an inefficient way to heat your home. Dry it in a sunny, well-aired space for at least two years, keeping rain off in the winter.

“Radial cracks and bark that comes off easily suggests wood that is ready for burning. Test the wood when you think it is ready for burning, ideally with a moisture meter. First calibrate the meter and then measure a freshly split surface to get the best reading.”

✅ 2 or 4 way splitting knife
✅ conveyor in feed
✅ chainsaw arm cuts to desired length
✅ conveyor out feed into tipper pickup truck, customer dumpy bags, barn or heap
✅ cuts up to 12 inch diameter logs
✅ larger logs can be split on kinetic splitter or with an axe/maul
✅ includes fuel / oil and consumables

🪚 excessive wear or damage to cutting chain from metal, stones, etc in wood is chargeable at £30. Spare cutting chains carried to ensure smooth operation
