We had a fabulous afternoon with the absolute legend that is Matty's® BBQ Chop Shop, who gave us some top BBQ tips (and kept us well watered with Tiny Rebel throughout) Thanks Matty 🍖

Fundraising fun & games coming together ahead of The Cross Inn CrossFEST 2026, in aid of Disability Sport Wales 💰

First pour of our brew with Rhys and the Swansea BeerRiffBrewing gang, “With Friends” a 6.8% NZ NEIPA, absolute banger! 🍺

We were delighted to get this little Yonder Brewing beauty pouring on so many bars across the land - a belter of a sour, packed with blueberries & bananas and brewed with the legend Jasper Tupman 👌

𝙰𝚗 𝚎𝚡𝚌𝚒𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚝𝚘𝚝𝚢𝚙𝚎 𝚋𝚛𝚎𝚠 🍊
We put together a very special pilot brew, resulting in a single keg of goodness… if you’ve been drinking at The Coach lately then you might have tasted it. If you missed it then don’t worry, we’re planning on a full batch being one of our birthday brews next month! 🤩

Perfect weather and a perfect day as over 80 of you wonderful folk (plus kids and pooches) joined us for the inaugural walk from The Coach to The Tusker Rock. Helping raise lots of money for Disability Sport Wales and raising plenty of glasses at the finish line! 🍻

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬 🎉
8 YEARS. 8 BEERS. 🍻
How has it been another year already?! 😮

This September The Coach Brewing Co turns 8, so naturally, we’re brewing 8 beers to celebrate.
4 cask. 4 keg. 8 different brews. 👌
•
And because we’ve always been focused on much more than just the brewery, we’ve invited staff from across our pub estate into the brewhouse to get involved, collaborate and help create the birthday series. 💪
•
So what are we brewing?
Expect hops. Expect haze. Something dark and smooth. Something fruity. A few nods to beers we love - and probably a surprise or two along the way... but we’re not giving any more away just yet. 👀

But we can tell you when you can drink them…
📅 THURSDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER.
📍 The Coach , Bridgend - CF31 3DH
All eight birthday brews will launch at The Coach, with the night coinciding with Open Mic Night for what will be an absolute belter of an evening. 🎤🍻🎂

The beers will then go live across the rest of our venues the following day (Friday 18th September).

𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩 🚶‍♂️
The countdown is on! We’re incredibly excited to welcome everyone to the inaugural Coach to Coast walk in support of Disability Sport Wales. With just over a week to go, here are some quick answers to some frequently asked questions.

💷 What do I get for £15?
• Entry to the walk
• Limited edition CTC 2026 T-shirt
• Pint at the finish in The Tusker Rock
• £5 donated to Disability Sport Wales on your behalf

🎟️ Entries are now full.

📧 Should I receive a booking confirmation?
No. If your payment went through, you’re booked on. We’ll check you in on the day and issue your T-shirt and pint token. We can accept last minute entries although we can’t guarantee a T-shirt. Book by Wednesday 5th August to secure a tee.

👕 T-shirt
They’re one colour. Sizes: M, L & XL. Allocated on a first come, first served basis.

🥾 Is it difficult?
The walk is around 5.5 miles with 320ft of elevation. More enjoyable than challenging, but please wear suitable footwear.

🎒 What should I bring?
Water, comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a fully charged phone, any medication you require & cash or card for any extra drinks.

🗺️ What if I get lost?
We’ll give a route and safety briefing before we set off, we’ll have front walkers and back markers. We’ll also provide a GPX route for your phone.

⛑️ What if I get injured?
We’ll carry a first aid kit, but in an emergency, call 999.

🍴 Is there food at the finish?
The Tusker Rock serves drinks, crisps and nuts. For something more substantial, Cobbles is available on Deliveroo, or feel free to bring a packed lunch.

🐶 Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Just keep them under control and on a lead where appropriate.

👨‍👩‍👧 Children?
Under 18s are welcome with a responsible adult. There is no entry fee for kids.

🕦 Arrival
The Coach will open at 11:30am on the day. Please arrive by midday for registration and the safety briefing.

🚌 Getting back
The 303 bus stops opposite The Tusker Rock and runs back to Bridgend.

Starting at The Coach, we’ll be heading 5 miles across the scenic Welsh countryside towards the sea and finishing at The Tusker Rock for a well-earned pint by the coast.
