My daughters 6th birthday cake ✨

Perks of having a baker mom, she chose every detail of this cake 💁🏻‍♀️

Chocolate sponge, chocolate ganache filling, vanilla buttercream to cover 🤤

She is Glinda OBSESSED 🎀 but it had to be Glinda from Wicked for good, IYKYK 🫧

So lucky I get to create my girls cakes, their reactions to them never get old 🥹💝

Come with me to make an oblong wedding cake ✨

This cake was 80cm long and 3 sponges high! She was a beauty 🤩

I was so excited when I got the request for this cake, I've wanted to do an oblong cake for a while!

Something I didn't think about until I started to plan the cake was the board... there was no way your average cake board was going to support the weight of this cake, so off I went to create my own 🏃🏻‍♀️

A sheet of mdf and a roll of white vinyl later, the cake board was made 🙋🏻‍♀️ I probs should've videoed the process of making it, but I completely forgot 😂

This was 1 out of 3 wedding cakes from last weekend... in a heatwave... 🫠 but we did it 🙌🏻
