It's with a heavy heart, that Framptons Of Bridport would like to inform all our customers of the sudden passing of Thomas Murphy (Tom)
10/08/2026.
Our thoughts are with Debs his wife, and family. Having known Tom for nearly 35 years, he started to work for Framptons in 2020 during covid, started working 1 day a week, over the next couple of years became a full-time employee.
He grew Framptons, from just serving
Rise Market (Bridport) to include
1/Highlands Shop
2/Chideock Stores
3/Golden Cap Holiday Park.
Those last three outlets we are going to stop suppling, as that was Tom's legacy. He was much loved by the customer's on the home deliveries that he did daily, and also by customer's he met and knew anyway serving in the shop.
How do I describe Tom.
He was one of my best friends that you count on one hand.
Also a REAL MAN, organising, helping, always had your back.
Myself, my Wife, my family and the Framptons Of Bridport staff are gutted.
There was only one Thomas Murphy, and he worked with us !
He was our

Tommy,
Jesus god bless you Tom. Ps, we will continue to help in anyway we can to support Deb's and the family.

After just over 2 and half years, Dan is hanging up his apron and moving on to pastures new.

​It’s safe to say Dan really stepped up to the block during his time here. He went from quiet and tentative to brimming with confidence, keeping us all entertained and our customers smiling. We’re really proud of how far he’s come!

​Good luck with whatever comes next. Don't be a stranger and remember nobody will ever butcher a link of sausages quite like you! 🌭✨
