HOGCHESTER OPEN DAY CANCELLED 21-07-2024

Hi Folks - sorry to say we have had to cancel our open day tomorrow (Sunday). Do let anybody know who was planning to come. the meadows will be open as usual but the coffee shop will not be open.

We opening in support of the NGS this Sunday. Open from 9:00am and serving Cream teas and coffee from 11:00 am until 4:00pm.

the meadows have been a bit battered by the weather but there are still some very beautiful sections. the rewilding areas are developing year on year and are host to stunning flowers and and small naturally seeded trees. Do come and join us !

The meadows are still fresh and young. currently dominated by delicate buttercup lifted sculpturally into the air, offset by the pinkish red clover and a haze of sorrel giving a reddish tinge to everything. a few Daisy have opened early and the yellow rattle is in flower close to the ground.
