Yesterday was PUMPKIN PLANTING DAY! 🎃 Woohoo!

Our 2026 pumpkin crop is officially planted! 🌱

Getting thousands of pumpkin plug plants into the ground is definitely a team effort. Each plug is carefully placed by hand into the planter which then plants them into the ground. We then walk behind the tractor to ensure they are all in the ground correctly.

It's a big job, but one of the most exciting milestones of the season. Now it's over to Mother Nature (with a little help from us along the way) as we watch them establish, grow, and hopefully produce an amazing crop of pumpkins ready for autumn!

Are you a small local business looking for a beautiful summer venue to showcase your products?

We're looking for new businesses to join us at our Sunflower Patch this August!

Whether you offer delicious treats, handmade crafts, candles, jewellery, tweed products, cheese, meat, vegetables, eggs, jam, honey, or something unique, we'd love to hear from you.

There is no pitch fee to attend. Instead, we simply ask for a donation of a raffle prize for our hamper raffle, with all proceeds going to support the Air Ambulance.
