One of the biggest unmet needs for asylum seeking clients with health isues is getting to and from appointments - often with specialists in London. Living on either £9.95 in a ‘hotel’ setting or £49.18 in disperse accommodation train tickets are out of the question.

Even if they can claim back they often have no bank account for this transaction to be credited to them and still need the money upfront to be able to reach the appointment. Last year we supported clients in NE Essex (which has one of the highest densities of disabled asylum seekers in the country) to the tune of £7,623.

Inequalities and unmet needs force people into exploitation and crisis so we are always going to try to support. Your donations make all the difference. You can find the link to donate in our bio.

Thank you everyone who supported and bought from us Chatto Gardens Christmas Fair, it was a really lovely event. Food Without Fuss will be at the Bread & Butter Market with lots of Christmas Mincemeat, Christmas Jams, Marmalades, Chutneys and ketchups, oh, and not forgetting pickled onions!

Without Fuss was delighted to have had a very successful day Chatto's Gardens Christmas Market. Such a lovely atmosphere and great stalls. Food without Fuss is back in action and delighted to be trading at The Wivenhoe Christmas Market on Saturday 15th November. I’m very much looking forward to being back at the market. I will have lots of delicious jams and chutneys as well as some delicious ketchups and Christmas mincemeat. Look forward to seeing you there.

🚲 Appeal for Children’s Bikes 🚲

We’re currently receiving several requests from families in need of children’s bikes for ages 4 to 15 — many so their kids can cycle to school.

If you have a bike in good, usable condition that your child or grandchild has outgrown, we’d love to give it a second life with a new family. 💛

We need your support once again. Thanks to your incredible generosity, the young mother battling a terminal illness has been able to remain in her rented home, and her husband has successfully completed his university studies.

However, he now faces another challenge. She is unable to fly, and he hopes to extend his stay through the Graduate route—an option that comes at a significant cost.

We kindly ask for your support once more, enabling him to remain in the country, find employment, and spend as much time as possible by her side during this difficult time.
