something extremely rare & special for you all this week.

Side Project is a world class brewery hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
With an incredible reputation, Cory King (owner & head brewer) has been named as one of the top brewers in the WORLD.

A true master of blending and brewing insanely big stouts, wild fermented farmhouse ales, and barleywines.

They were once named the second best brewery on the planet by the late website, RateBeer (if you remember using this we’d be best friends)

everything that comes out of those doors is pure gold, and Au Revoir is absolutely no exception.

Built on their unreleased Delicate Saison base, this beer matured in an oak foedre before being transferred into 225L wine barrels with watermelon for a secondary fermentation. The finishing touch was a pinch of French Grey Sea Salt and almost a year of maturing.

bright, fresh, subtly savoury and ridiculously elegant. summer in a glass.

seriously might be one of the best saisons ever produced on the planet.

dechs weekend picks!

got too many new beers in this week so I’ve decided to cherry pick some of my favourites.

X - Into The Ever Haze. 7%.
A fusion of our legendary tropical fruit-forward Into the Haze with Tripping Animals’ amazing Ever Haze - Citra, Simcoe and Motueka on the exchanges.

Fun Bungo. 7.1%.
Brewed with golden promise pale malt, wheat, locally grown oats and fermented for four monthswith Brettanomyces and soured with our house culture. We refermented this base beer with over200g/l of pineapple and mango puree in addition to a 120kg of whole organic Navelina oranges from Arboleas, Spain which were zested and juiced by hand.

x From Here To Forever. 11%
Inspired by the iconic triangular Swiss chocolate you find in airport duty-free or tucked into Christmas stockings, this indulgent stout leans fully into dessert territory. Rich chocolate layers meet smooth coffee and creamy tiramisu notes, creating a decadent, velvety drinking experience.

have always been one of my favourite lesser appreciated breweries!always putting out consistently fantastic beer with equally eye grabbing artwork from the talented

Slicing Up Eyeballs - 5.0% Hazy Pale Ale

Brewed to celebrate The Pixies headlining Bearded Theory, this is a juicy, US/NZ hopped IPA packed full of tasty hops for those big tropical notes. Idaho 7 in the boil brings the orange juice while Mosaic Crro at pitch and Azzaca and Riwaka in conditioning bring passionfruit and stone fruit flavours.

This Transient Zing - 6.0% Raspberry, Lime & Coconut Sour Ale

Screaming pink from all the raspberry puree, this beer is a pure lip smacker. Clean, zippy and refreshing, with just enough coconut to balance out some of the acidity, this modern sour really packs a punch.

Brewed in collaboration with the incredible Leeds based post metal band Din Of Celestial Birds, and named for their track This Transient Spring

pilsner as it should

I reckon there is something very special about a traditional pilsner, it may be the serving size, temperature or flavour.
it could also be the deeply rooted tradition and skill involved in German brewing.

bright citrus and tangerine aromas with a sweet kick of bready malt.

always refreshing and always clean.

have been brewing on German copper kettles for eternity. it was only right for them to pay homage to one of Europes finest styles of beer.

these freshly released X cans are looking phenomenal!

both canned less than 18 days ago, ya gotta come and drink them while they’re fresh & juicy!

Liminal Messaging - 6.5% IPA. Here, we used the three Messaging hops (Citra, Motueka, Dolcita) in equal parts.

Increased body and saturation and our house yeast providing the platform… we get tropical, coconut, limey funk.. in IPA form.

Superliminal Messaging, 8% DIPA. This is a fully loaded, fully saturated DIPA, where Motueka steps up to lead the charge!

What’s a DIPA without a large whack of hand selected Motueka!

An addition of PRYSMA Dolcita from our friends Barthaas to tidy things up nicely.

Coconut, limes and plenty of tropics to the fore

Dunes - bright, crisp and an instant classic. lovely to see Beak delve into the world of West Coast, you can easily see why this will be a winner.

Iridescence - All of the hops. In multiple ways. Cryo, Dynaboost, Liquid Lupulin, CGX. Mojito lime freshness, peach melba, fizzy watermelon sweets, passionfruit and vanilla martinis. Lotsa lactose to soften the blow and sweeten the deal.
