i am looking for a part time kitchen porter, to share responsibility for the kitchen porter job for the Tasting Room at Rathfinny vineyard near Alfriston. Shifts would be mainly weekends of saturday and sunday 10-6 but from easter their is the possibility of more evening shifts. You would need your own transport to be able to get to the vineyard as its in the country side being a vineyard! Rate of pay £9ph plus an equal share off the tips. Lovely environment to work in a small restaurant.

Rathfinny Tasting Room restaurant is set in the stunning Rathfinny Wine Estate in Alfriston, East Sussex. Launched in 2018, the Tasting Room is headed up by Michelin Star chef Chris Bailey.

The menu philosophy draws on the best produce available and of course what is in season. As such the menu changes weekly, with every dish complimenting the wines produced on the estate.

We are looking for a creative and passionate Sous Chef to join our fantastic team. The perfect candidate will possess abilities required to help with menu planning and have a strong work ethic.

Ideally you'd have 2-4 year experience working as a Sous Chef and be able to confidently lead a small team and can cope well under pressure.

The role offers a great opportunity to learn and develop your abilities whilst being part of a growing business.

The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and Friday and Saturday for dinner. The job will include a four day week including two evenings.

Salary is 24k-28k depending on experience with in the region of 5k in an equal share of the service charge.

Good pension contribution, health insurance, 30 days holiday entitlement.

The role includes:
Assisting to create and deliver innovative menus to the highest standard.
Outstanding food presentation and sourcing high quality ingredients.
Supervision and training of full and part time catering staff.
