RP Meats Open Day 📣

What a day! A huge thank you to every customer who came along to our first ever RP Meats Open Day at our Brighton depot.

It was brilliant to bring everyone together and give our customers a look behind the scenes.

On the day, our customers had exclusive access to:

• 🥩 Tours of our offices, fridges, freezers and hanging fridges
• 🐷 Hog roast from East Sussex Hog Roast, cooking off our exclusive Plumpton College | Land & Environment Courses pig.
• 🌭 Hot dogs courtesy of Porky Whites sausages
• 🧀 Cheese and deli samples inside our fridge
• 🤝 Industry suppliers and partners showcasing their products and services

Company KICK OFF 2026 🥩🔥

What a day bringing the whole Viande Group team together at our Brighton depot for our annual Kick Off.

A chance to reflect on the year gone by, talk about what’s ahead and, most importantly, celebrate the people who make our business what it is.

From our office teams and drivers to our butchers and everyone in between, it was brilliant to have the RP Meats, Blake’s Catering Butchers and Bodiam Meat Company teams together.

Greg shared his plans for the year ahead, Ed spoke about the exciting next chapter for Bodiam Meats, and Matt covered all things RP Meats.

Then it was time to enjoy some incredible food and even better company! 🥩☀️

A huge thank you to Cai Ap Bryn for an amazing barbecue, showcasing our côte de boeuf, pork belly and lamb legs, and to Bodiam Food Service for bringing along some fantastic sides, burgers, dips and sauces.

A brilliant day celebrating our people, our businesses and everything that lies ahead.

🚛 Big news from us... we’ve just added a new HGV to the fleet!

This is a huge milestone for our business and marks an exciting new chapter as we continue to grow. Expanding our fleet means we can take on more deliveries, improve our service, and support even more customers across the region.

Our new HGV gives us the capacity to move more products efficiently, making it easier than ever to keep up with demand and ensure deliveries arrive on time. It’s an investment in our future and another step towards building an even stronger, more reliable service.

Here’s to more deliveries, new opportunities, and an exciting future ahead. Keep an eye out for our newest addition on the roads! 🚛✨

Last week the RP Meats team took a day to look back on a brilliant start to 2026. 🙌

A chance to celebrate the hard work everyone has put in, reflect on what has gone well and think about how we keep getting better for our customers.

We are proud of our team. But honestly? We are equally proud of the butchers and businesses we supply every single day. None of our success happens without yours.

The highlight of the day? A cheese tasting during the break. Because if you are in the food business, you might as well enjoy it. 🧀

Thank you to the team at Highbury Poultry for welcoming a few of our key staff to your facilities this week.
Grant Kenny and Craig Bell from our Procurement Team along with Business Development Manager, Sean Kerr had a fantastic trip!
It was a valuable opportunity to visit such a modern and progressive facility and to gain further insight into the impressive standards and innovation across the business.

The visit reflected the commitment, expertise and forward thinking approach that continues to drive Highbury Poultry’s growth and development within the industry. Experiences like this are extremely important in strengthening partnerships and developing a greater understanding of the people and processes behind successful operations.

We appreciate the time and hospitality extended to our team and look forward to continuing to build and develop our relationship moving forward.
