We’re pleased to say our shipment of Champagne from one of our favourite small producers has arrived!

These are top quality wines from a family vineyard in Ay in Champagne. We have worked with these wines for many years and love them so much that we import them to the UK ourselves.

We have a full range of styles available, including magnums and half bottles. If you are after a delicious and affordable fizz, look no further.

Last night our good friend hosted a tasting in our shop of the iconic wines from

It was a fun and informative evening with a great crowd and delicious wines.

We’ve worked with this producer for many years. They are based in the Douro valley in Portugal and have been making wine on their estate since the 1800’s.

We tried a selection of whites, reds and ports, and a couple of extra surprise treats, including their flagship wine which has recently been awarded 96 points by What a privilege! It was incredible!

As always the audience made it great fun, and it was super interesting.

🌊 Ledda Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG ‘Soliànu’ 2022 Sardinia
Clean, precise citrus fruit with a very long, saline finish.

🍋 Vini de Luca Virgola Bianco Terre Siciliane IGT ‘Virgola’ 2024 Etna
Made from hand selected Carricante fruit, this is concentrated, fruit driven and structured with a citrus twist on the finish.

The reds

🫐 Cantina Mulargiu Cannonau IGT Barbagia Rosso Vendemmia 2023 Sardinia
A stunning red wine made from the Cannonau grape. SIlky smooth, like a Sardinian Cru Beaujolais.

🌿 Cantina Cadinu Cannonau Perdas Longas 2021 Sardinia
We have received support to heavily discount this wine, so make the most of it while it lasts. Very old Cannonau vines have resulted in a complex wine with mixed berry fruit and savoury notes.

⛰️ Cantina Esole Barbagia Rosso IGT Ghirada Garaunele A 2022 Sardinia
Very rare wine made from old vine Cannonau grown at high altitude. This is a powerful, complex, structured wine, which evolves as you work through the glass, it has so much potential.

🍒 Vini de Luca Etna Rosso DOC Virgola 2022 Etna
Ripe cherry fruit and spice, with an elegant minerality, a very drinkable Sicilian red.

WE DID IT! 🎉🐾

Our 100 Miles in May challenge for is complete, and we just managed to cross the finish line before the end of the month!

Henry completed an impressive 100.34 miles, and I finished on 101.17 miles. What started out sounding like a great idea turned out to be much harder than we expected, especially while working full-time. I also had some major health issues to contend with along the way, but there was never any question of giving up. We were determined to hit our target and support a cause that means so much to us.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to our friends, family, customers, and everyone who supported, donated, and cheered us on. Your kindness and generosity mean more than we can put into words. We are incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people around us who believe in us and in the causes that are so close to our hearts.

Between this challenge and our fundraising wine tasting event earlier in May, we have raised just under £2,000 for Raystede. This is a fantastic amount for a charity that works tirelessly to help animals in need, and we’re so proud of what we’ve achieved together.

Thank you all so much for helping make this possible. ❤️

And don’t worry, there will be another challenge soon! I’ll do almost anything to help animals in need... but wing walking is definitely not on the list! 😂✈️🐾

Another treat from Henry’s stash. This bottle which is over 50 years old was bought from auction years ago, and stored in perfect cellar conditions.
