This week marks 10 years since we first opened the doors, and what an incredible 10 years it has been.
We’ve been lucky enough to share countless great nights, celebrations, conversations, friendships and memories with so many wonderful people from the village and surrounding areas. Along the way we’ve poured literally thousands of different beers, discovered some amazing breweries, and built something that we’re incredibly proud of.
To everyone who has supported us over the last decade – whether you’ve been with us from day one or only recently discovered us – thank you. Your loyalty, support and friendship have meant more than you’ll ever know.
As many of you know, the world is constantly changing, and sometimes we have to change with it. We’ve also recently welcomed a new addition to our family, which has given us an opportunity to reflect on what’s most important and where we want to focus our time and energy going forward.
With that in mind, we’ve made the decision that after the World Cup, this chapter will come to an end. While it’s not an easy decision, we feel it’s the right one for us and for our family.
The good news is that we’re not going anywhere. You’ll still find us next door at The Ark, and we’ll be involved in an exciting new venture in the building, which we’ll share more details about in due course. Opening dates are still to be confirmed, but we’ll keep everyone updated as plans progress.
For now, though, there’s still plenty of time to enjoy everything you’ve loved over the years. We’ll be here seven days a week right through to the end of the World Cup, and we’d love to see as many familiar faces as possible before we close this chapter together.
