This is a BIG week. 👀

We’re headed to Meatopia UK London for the week — but we’re not there to cook… we’re working with our wonderful team! ❤️

You’ll find us in Quayside Hall on the YETI stand from Thursday through Sunday, surrounded by a frankly dangerous amount of coolers, drinkware and lovely things.

Talk to us about all things BBQ. BBQ classes. Coolers. Cast iron. Your favourite tinned food. Whatever takes your fancy.

And yes, Miss Pickle WILL be getting a YETI dog bed. 🐶😂

🔥🚗 CARFEST, YOU WERE MAGIC 🚗🔥

What a weekend. ❤️

Our third year at CarFest and somehow it just keeps getting better. We cooked, talked, taught, laughed, danced, thought up new concepts and generally had a bloody brilliant time. 🔥

Nath took to the Napoleon Premium BBQs United Kingdom stage, we got nerdy about wood on panels, ran our rub workshop with our brilliant pal Brendan (who we shamelessly poached from the Lumberjaxe Food Company 🪵😂), and spent the weekend surrounded by some truly incredible people from the food world and beyond.

And amongst all the madness, we got to hang out with some of our favourite humans and take it all in. 🥹🫶🏻We came home absolutely knackered, incredibly happy and very, very grateful. ❤️

To everyone who cooked with us, hosted us (our BBQ Aunties 🫶🏻), came to watch us, chatted BBQ, hugged us, fed us, drank with us or made us laugh — THANK YOU.

What a bloody lovely world we get to be part of. 🔥❤️🚗

🧀 CHEESE DAY 🧀

Yesterday we had a tremendous day at Barber’s Cheese HQ, learning all about this incredible cheese-making family — who have been doing their thing since 1833. That is a LOT of cheese. 🧀

Huge thanks to Katy, Simon, Tony & Dave for being so generous with their time, knowledge and, most importantly, cheese.

It was one of those days that’ll live long in our memories. Every time we take a bite of cheddar — which, let’s face it, is quite often — we’ll think a little differently about everything that’s gone into making it.

We came away with so much respect for the craft, skill, science and patience behind proper cheesemaking, but also for the values behind the business: generations of knowledge, supporting British farming, looking after the land and doing things properly rather than simply doing them quickly.

Turns out we have rather a lot in common when it comes to our feelings about good ingredients, good producers and respecting the craft behind great food. 🔥🧀

And Nath got to stick a cheese iron into an enormous block of cheddar, so frankly his year has peaked.

💍🔥 HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ABBY & AJ! 🔥💍

A little throwback to this beautiful summer wedding at Court Farm, Banwell. ☀️

We absolutely loved feeding Abby, Aj and all their guests — and these photos landing in our inbox were such a lovely reminder of a brilliant day. There’s something pretty special about seeing a queue of wedding guests gathered around the Big Nath’s BBQ gazebo! 😂🔥

As Big Nath’s has grown, our diary has changed quite a bit too. Alongside the BBQ School and shop, we’re spending more of our time at festivals, chef demos, fire stages and events around the UK.

That means going forward we’ll be taking on a smaller, limited number of weddings and private events each year. ❤️

So, if a relaxed BBQ feast sounds like your kind of wedding food, we’d love to hear from you. 🔥

This November, we’re teaming up with Matt Roberts for a very special Game BBQ Class at Big Nath’s HQ!

We’ll be joined by Matt Roberts from Grove Game for a full day exploring wild British game – from field to fire (or stalk to fork!) 🦌🔥
