Our herb garden is radiating soft shades of purple, cream and white, creating a sense of peace and harmony.

This gentle colour palette is alive with pollinators, weaving between the delicate blooms of Heartsease, the elegant flowers of Coriander, fragrant Lavender, frothy Meadowsweet and the silky petals of our Oriental Poppies.

Traditionally, these historic herbs symbolise joy, tranquillity and abundance, making them as meaningful as they are beautiful.

If you would like to experience our herb garden in full bloom, our next Open Days are on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th July. Tickets and further information can be found on our website.

We look forward to showing you around.

Jekka with some of her treasured plants at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, featured in The RHS and The King’s Foundation ‘The Curious Garden’ by Frances Tophill

The garden celebrates the extraordinary diversity of plants and the ways they shape our lives, designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration and inspire future generations of gardeners.

Jekka was delighted to provide a selection of her favourite unusual herbs for the garden, including:
• Spineless Caper, Capparis spinosa subsp. rupestris
• Cretan Oregano, Origanum dictamnus
• Australian Rosemary, Westringia fruticosa
• Lavandula buchii var. buchii

Each plant has its own story, history and character, from culinary traditions to medicinal uses and remarkable adaptations to climate and landscape.

Our newsletter this Sunday will share more about the herbs we sent to Chelsea and the stories behind them. To sign up for our newsletter via the link in our bio.
