NEW MENU TIME... AND SHRIMP FRIES ARE BACK! 🍤🫶

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to take our menu to the next level, and we’re dropping it all on Tuesday.

First up due to popular demand we’ve bought back a reimagined version of our ever so popular shrimp fries. We’ve tossed our fries in a gochujang butter, topped them with the shrimp you know and love, drizzled with garlic mayo and finished with spring onion for freshness. 🤤

This morning we were welcomed with what can only be described as a targeted attack on our Baldwin St restaurant. In the early hours someone has thrown a brick through our window, no one entered the building or nothing was taken, purely just a malicious attack, and we have no idea why.

Usually we like to keep things light hearted and fun as thats what we believe our restaurants should be about, but being honest, last week was probably one of the worst sales weeks we have every seen whilst running Oowee and this was the same story for everyone else ive spoken to in the industry and things like this just add another unnecessary cost we simply cannot afford. The industry is on its knees at the moment, there is a fantastic movement gaining traction VATS THE PROBLEM trying to tackle the issue around VAT with government which would help us all out massively so I urge you to check that out and sign the petition.

As with this, we dont really have any leads to understand why and who but if anyone was around Baldwin St last night and has any info or has seen anything please do reach out, as altough very unlikely we’d love to understand the motive behind this.

Baldwin will be open a bit later today whilst we clean up but we are aiming to be open in the next 40 mins. Big Love

Our Double Bacon Mac & Cheese 🥵 people say our plantbased cheese sauce is the GOAT (not the literal GOAT ofc, then it wouldn’t be vegan), but we think it’s even BETTER when topped with our housemade baconnaise, crispy bacon bits and spring onions 💃🏽⁠
