Claudine Levy and Jelly Malin founded the bakery in June 2012 after winning Bristol University’s ‘Enternpreneurship’ Scheme. We’re a catering c
ompany, foodie retailers and run our own kooky classes. What is a concept catering? Through icing and imagination, we combine a love of ideas and a love of sweet treats to create a sensory dining experience for every client. The Spoon Fools use literature, music and film as inspiration for our wacky, wonderful sweet creations; allow us to turn your party into a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, complete with Alice in Wonderland giant teacups, Earl Grey and Hot Buttered Toast cupcakes, Tea Cocktails and Inverse Sandwiches. Our catering doesn’t just enhance an event, it brings it to life. We say bite the book, munch on music, feast on film. We cater events of all sizes. We’ve catered everything from magazine launches to office parties, tailor-making bespoke menus with a strong conceptual and aesthetic vision. Victoria Sponge is sooo 1900s; we demand something fresh (sorry, Mary Berry). We offer a fully bespoke catering service, complete with design, props and waiting staff. You can take one of our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party classes at 102 Cookery School,
where you’ll learn how to make your very own Alice in Wonderland tea party, whilst the film silently plays on the kitchen walls and you sip cocktails out of tea-cups. We also offer a range of private, personalized classes that can be run in the comfort of your home. How to get in touch:
