Big news from our Building Inclusive Communities Project! 🌟

As we look to grow our inclusive bakery community, we’re currently searching for a new site in South Gloucestershire to help us support more adults with learning differences - creating opportunities to help them develop transferable work skills and take steps towards employment 😊

If you know of a suitable site or have connections that could help, we’d love to hear from you - your support could help make this next chapter possible 🙌

We are so excited to announce that our Employee of the Month for May is the wonderful Ruth

From helping serve up delicious lunches to running our shop, and finally wrapping up the day with our afternoon tea round, Ruth is a non-stop force of positivity!

Why we love having her:

Infectious Energy: She is incredibly happy, bubbly, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

The Monday Concert: If you pop into our shop on a Monday around 2:30 PM, you’ll catch Ruth singing her heart out. Warning: Her personality is so infectious, you’ll definitely find yourself singing along!

A Perfect Fit: Even though she hasn't been with us forever, it truly feels like she has always been part of the family.

Ruth, we are so happy to have you on the team. Thank you for making our days brighter and our hearts lighter!

Very exciting news….and help please!!!

We are absolutely delighted to announce generous 3 year funding from The National Lottery Community Fund for our Building Inclusive Communities project. Massive thanks to all you lovely people who play The National Lottery, this absolutely couldn’t happen without you!

Can you help us?

As part of the project we are going to expand our base in South Gloucestershire to enable us to better serve the needs of people with learning differences north of Bristol. We are looking for a space approximately between 1,200 sq ft and 2,000 sq ft for us to use as a bakery training space and with some office space. It must be in South Gloucestershire, and with good transport links. We don’t need a fitted out kitchen, all our equipment is portable and our fire risk is very low.

Please do get in touch with any suggestions, useful contacts or leads. We’ve been looking for a while, so any help would be hugely appreciated!

A group of our Monday and Friday trainees have been helping make a No Cook Cookbook with our Extending Opportunities Lead Margie!🌟

Today they made some tasty dips that went wonderfully with our Lavosh flavours 😋
